QUOTE(frags @ Oct 20 2008, 10:32 PM) Tomorrow rest of the world. Malaysia...probably in a day or two. Dilemma ehh? Well, if you have the means to buy it go ahead.God this review doesn't help ease the pain on the price point: http://www.gamesradar.com/pc/far-cry-2/rev...221105846871089 They gave it a 9! You'll love * Breathtaking environments * Massive freedom of play style * Loads of variety and depth You'll hate * Not simple to pick-up-and-play * Harshly punishes mistakes * Cumbersome health recovery Hmmmm, wonder how much will the collector's edition cost? Scary... |

QUOTE(tech_frix @ Nov 1 2008, 10:30 AM) sorry then... Fallout 3's not exactly good either. But if you like Oblivion, then go grab it fast!!! some frens of mine said dis game not worth it.... just a huge map and nothing more to expect... if dis d case, i'll go with Fallout 3.... to many ppls gave a bad review bout this game... so other forums oso said it oni worth if u go online.... sigh.. It's Oblivion in a post-apocalyptic setting with improved character models, slightly more character interaction and guns. |

Here's what I did, I played Far Cry 2 until I reached 50% game progress and then stopped playing it for a month. Resumed playing after the 1 month hiatus and finished it.

QUOTE(kianweic @ Feb 13 2011, 10:32 PM) I am currently playing this extensively, bought it from Steam awhile back. I gave up playing this game and my progress was around 60%. I got tired of the respawning enemies and constant traveling. Is there anyway to stop enemies respawning at outposts? Kinda feel like playing Megaman / Rockman with unending bad guys to kill / obliterate / decimate. |
