hmm just got the game..
the graphics.. sishh kindda poor in my opinion..
and the surrounding is so fake..
cant even chop down a tree like crysis..

hmmmm..... found out that Far Cry 2 lock up if i alt+tab, there is no way to restore it back and have to end task it.... is this a common problem or im the only 1 facing the problem.... anyway to solve it?

another question is about nvidia physX... im playing this on my lappy (as stated in my signature)... i wonder should i activate the GPU physX or off it for best performance...

what's the size of the t shirt that comes with the collector edition? hope not too big.

i don't get any lock-up though i alt-tab few times onto desktop and back to the game, could be your pc's problem??

i have no idea why is that happening.... using Nvidia 180.42 driver.... i found thru Google that there are quite some ppl experiencing this problem too... but cant find any solution yet... i've no problem on any other game (crysis, crysis warhead, brothera in arms, mass effect and more) except this Far Cry 2...... any1 have any idea??

the latest nvidia driver i found on nvidia's website is 178.24....where did you get that 180.42 =.=?
edit: well i found 1 beta version 180.43 it says recommended for far cry 2 you might want to check it out?
btw i'm using 178.24

press Alt+Enter for the Alt+Tab problem.

select using Alt+Tab and if the window black press Alt+Enter.

so i downloded it from the link is here, http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showforum=120 for the 180.42..... i've just also noticed that http://guru3d.com/ have both 180.43 and 180.42 driver..... while http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us only have 180.43.....

u wanna alt+tab faster or successfuly,try to pause game then alt+tab,then can work...that time i alt+tab when playing it freezes

hmmm for those to replying to me stating that u "have" or "dont have" ALT+TAB problem, please state the nvidia driver version u are using currently too..

just want to identify whether is it driver problem or not, since 180series big bang 2 driver already give far cry black screen problem but already have solution solving it in 2 ways either maximized=1 or properties->compatibility->disable window composition....... but so far alt+tab issue not yet resolved

currently alt+enter with far cry 2 window selected isnt working for me.... will test the pause game method now

try pausing the game then alt+tabbing,it works...although sometimes the mouse pointer wont appear and u have to ctrl+alt+delete to open task manager to get the mouse pointer back =.=

im using 178.13 for my 8800gt

hmm just tried with pausing + alt+tab but its the same... no improvement... i guess it happen to 180series driver only.... i will force myself to revert back to 179.13 later if the problem still persist
