but here's the story

ok one day i was looking for a bass guitar...
cos im into guitars i wanted to venture into bass guitars...and then i post an ad on jamtank(similar forum like lyn but more for music kaki's)
then one dude pmed me said he got a 'FREN' selling a bass and gave me her email

so i was like cool! and i emailed her la sms her
first she say she needed money to buy a phone since kena stolen then suddenly another excuse say need to pay study money
and then another one..so i began to suspect..but she would not answer her phone when i call cos its her sis's number and she dont pick up call from strangers...WTF?!

so i tot mayb this girl some insecure girl so i let her be..sms her email her
so i banked in the money
RM380 after negoing with her...and then she send me the tracking number 513something so i called skynet and skynet told me their tracking number only start with 201blabla...

then she gave me a number..i think she simply whack la cos no such thing
dam gila pissed weii

until now her fren from the forum that intro me to her sudenly close his account..and her number cannot work liao..email oso nvr reply

The guy who intro-ed the girl to you is probably the same person as the girl. There might be no girl in the first place. That's why that person refused to answer any calls..

Conned.. Cause i just get the same thing. I wanna buy a Ipod Video 30g for RM260 (+postage) i Banked in on 27th Oktober night, 9PM, through CIMB online banking. It is a really stupid move. I regret i didnt read here before i do anything. Samething, no calling, dont pick up from stranger.. etc

After some conversation, she asked me to bank in (to CIMB(her brother's account) cause i said i use CIMB) and she will send over through skynet
I was too dumb to believe so i banked in.
Then she say she will send in after her class, and messaged me she sent it around 1630 28th Oktober 2008. She claim that i will receive it on friday.
She asked me to check it with Skynet. Number : 201533687792 (negative till now, 9.43 p.m.)
Now, her phone is off, no reply from smses.

Here's the catch :
Everyone that feeling that you've conned by her, send her a warning SMS that you'll bring this up to legal action.

If there's no reply within 24 hours, go to your nearby police station(preferably police station nearby the bank you've use to bank-in the amount to her if you're using cash deposit machine) and lodge a report with all the evidances.

And STOP whining, update your post, or say how sorry, how angry and whatever of yourself. The money won't come back to you.

guys... what do you think the government make it compulsory for prepaid to be registered? C'mon, you can track the registered user of the mobile no and bring to legal action.. even if the registered user is not the conman (maybe fren?) this will probably minimize the search scope. Im sure they can easilly trace the conman easilly.. just make a police report. and other plz beware.

Oh UiTM. I'm studying in UiTM also. I will see what i can do. But i know she's not from my campus (Seks 17 UiTM intec). I Checked. Any1 lodged police report?
