need some advice here. i noticed my ST has non-uniform grow on the shell. i differenciate this by different color of the shell, new one with lighter colour.

i think the second picture is a common snapping turtle. Can further confirm if there is a red 'worm' inside its mouth.

it's a new info. i.e. the red worm fade as the AST grows older. difficult for me to find the specimen of the age 1,5, and 10. Probably some members here can share. tks.

i recall most of the sifu here recommend to bring TT for sun basking during morning and evening....
what's the reason behind? Noon or afternoon can? does sun during noon/afternoon 'gives' more UVA & UVB ?

is the suppliment vitamin D3 available?

fyi... i went to ikano power center last week.

there is one common snapping turtle, quite big , about 6" long. very aggresive. they are selling at RM400.

there is another ally snapping turtle, very small , i think about 2 inch. Price tag show RM250.

if any1 interested, u can take a look.

yeah.. it's the Common Snaping turtle near the counter. it has been there for at least 3 months. The last time i saw the price tag is RM350. the size is about 6 inches. i think not many ppl interested ... that's why still there.

2 inches AST selling at RM280 is considered cheap lor. Worth to buy!
