need some advice here. i noticed my ST has non-uniform grow on the shell. i differenciate this by different color of the shell, new one with lighter colour. [attachmentid=808820]
what's wrong? lack of calcium? thank you.

i think the second picture is a common snapping turtle. Can further confirm if there is a red 'worm' inside its mouth.

i recall most of the sifu here recommend to bring TT for sun basking during morning and evening.... what's the reason behind? Noon or afternoon can? does sun during noon/afternoon 'gives' more UVA & UVB ?
is the suppliment vitamin D3 available?

fyi... i went to ikano power center last week.
there is one common snapping turtle, quite big , about 6" long. very aggresive. they are selling at RM400.
there is another ally snapping turtle, very small , i think about 2 inch. Price tag show RM250.
if any1 interested, u can take a look.

yeah.. it's the Common Snaping turtle near the counter. it has been there for at least 3 months. The last time i saw the price tag is RM350. the size is about 6 inches. i think not many ppl interested ... that's why still there.
