QUOTE(Gnoof @ Mar 17 2009, 11:52 PM) Is that the growth rate for your AST? i got an AST...i kept it for the the past 1.5 years...only give ikan longkang...fast grow n seems no problem at allI couldn't find any information about their growth rate online. Is it ok to feed it with fish only? Added on March 22, 2009, 10:47 am QUOTE(rafiqos @ Mar 17 2009, 02:23 PM) a good link indeed... This post has been edited by brokenglass: Mar 22 2009, 10:47 AM |

QUOTE(max-oasism @ May 18 2009, 07:05 PM) ya, i did already and still doing, now. thanks. ^^ yeah...i encounter the same health problem with my tortoise before...the gallbladder developed and need to be removed..now he's ok already but there is one poo, but green color. Added on May 18, 2009, 7:15 pm in the tank, the bedding was filled with layers of newspapers and one water bowl. every morning, i take it to get some sun light for about five minutes then bring it inside and feed it with vege. every weak, the bedding changed and water in the bowl was changed every two to three days. i think i followed the steps and ya i i do sometimes give it supplement of calcium and vit D3. i think its dehydration, cause it does not want to drink the water when it felt its dirty. will update more. ^^ |

QUOTE(budblely @ Jan 4 2010, 10:56 PM) From: PERHILITAN let's say u keep a protected wildlife under the acts n having no valid documents or license to keep it, if u declared it to the Perhilitan, will they issued u the permit or u get summons, pls advice...thank you... http://www.wildlife.gov.my/berita_pembetul...star_Dis09.html PEMBETULAN : ARTIKEL "PERMITS A MUST FOR PROTECTED ANIMALS: OWNERS HAVE SIX MONTHS FROM NOW TO REGISTER" (THE STAR 28 DISEMBER 2009) Jabatan PERHILITAN merupakan salah satu daripada 7 agensi yang bertanggungjawab untuk menguatkuasakan 'International Trade in Endangered Species Act 2008'. |

Try to wean them off live food (save you heaps in food bill ) - Frozen seafood or any meat item are equally good !! Try to feed whole item (even thou foul water real quick) but better for your animals Whole item as in prawn with shell(no head and tail pls ) Fish with gut , Chicken bone in ...etc |
