Which food and calcium supplement that you use to feed your tort ?

Is that the growth rate for your AST?
I couldn't find any information about their growth rate online.
Is it ok to feed it with fish only?

in the tank, the bedding was filled with layers of newspapers and one water bowl.
every morning, i take it to get some sun light for about five minutes then bring it inside and feed it with vege.

every weak, the bedding changed and water in the bowl was changed every two to three days.

i think i followed the steps and ya i i do sometimes give it supplement of calcium and vit D3.

i think its dehydration, cause it does not want to drink the water when it felt its dirty.

it has been a week she didnt go poo poo but only peepee, is there any major matter that i need to concern?

Jabatan PERHILITAN merupakan salah satu daripada 7 agensi yang bertanggungjawab untuk menguatkuasakan 'International Trade in Endangered Species Act 2008'. Bidang kuasa Jabatan adalah meliputi spesies hidupan liar kecuali spesies marin dan ikan.
Penguatkuasaan Akta ini akan bermula pada pertengahan tahun 2010, dimana hidupan liar yang disenaraikan perlu memperolehi dokumen daripada Jabatan PERHILITAN terlebih dahulu sebelum sebarang aktiviti dapat dijalankan.
Namun, sebelum Akta ini dikuatkuasakan, Y.B. Menteri Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar telah menyatakan bahawa satu tempoh percubaan (grace period) selama 6 bulan akan diberikan kepada orang awam, agar mengalakkan orang awam untuk tampil kepada agensi berkaitan dan mendeklarasikan penyimpanan hidupan liar yang diperlindungi dibawah Akta ini.
Satu kenyataan rasmi kepada media akan dibuat sejurus apabila penetapan tarikh tempoh percubaan ini telah ditetapkan.
Sehubungan dengan ini, orang awam adalah dinasihatkan untuk menunggu kenyataan rasmi daripada pihak Kementerian mengenai perkara ini.

Do remember they will eat even more as they grow up !! ie a few kg per specimen per week of food !!

Try to wean them off live food (save you heaps in food bill ) - Frozen seafood or any meat item are equally good !! Try to feed whole item (even thou foul water real quick) but better for your animals

Whole item as in prawn with shell(no head and tail pls ) Fish with gut , Chicken bone in ...etc

Haha, you should see how my 8 inch matamata eat, like vacum cleaner. anyway try bigger feeder fishes like goldfish as for 7 inch ast baby carps are just not filling enough, cheers.
