70% land & 30% water is good, best if u can put him in a place where he cant see outside his enclosure, as this guy is wild he would always try to go out, try feeding apple first, do not need to chopped till small pieces, just cut it to half, remove da seed area.

can anyone tell me where I can buy those beddings used in the enclosure for star tortoise? A pet shop in Cheras would be good, but if not PJ or Damansara ok as well.

thanks.

Get those recycled paper pellets bedding, they are the best for now. You can get that at Pet Safari, Ikano, Damansara.

Master Uzairi,

Can I ask if I can put those normal soil from my garden as bedding for star tortoise? I'm willing to clean up their poo, everyday. But I'm afraid that it will eat the soil.

Regards.
