"usb device not recognize" - shud means after u plug in. then driver installation not successful or driver not supported. try with other comps or wmXP if possible. then you will know its ur device problem or ur computer OS problem. if its still charging after ur plug in the cable thn the usb port is still functioning. no worries. probably jus driver/software/OS crashes/bugs
