i got my Atom life battery for RM 80 after bargaining with them . Than i proceed to get a Capdase pouch for RM 100 after less from RM 135. Is this a good price.

My atom life just hang when i play the tone for sms receive tone. Is this firmware issue, need to upgrade?

ermm... many shops sell high mark-up price for capdase.
actaully some shop sell as low as rm70-80.

while i got mine for rm52 from fellow forumer, dadarouch.
bi-fold capdase for my atom life as well.
though... if ther's still any capdase flip-top out ther in the market i wanna get it

If the hanging problem persists, upgrade it. IMHO, those bundled with the O2 are useless ROMs.

im still a noob in this thing and afraid to do some modification. right now i just got my atom life and i know i have to upgrade the firmware first and even the rom?
there were some info on ROM and i wonder which one is the recommended one. thanks.

Hi all,

Just change from O2 Stealth to Atom Life (screen broken). Nice to see this thread still going on instead of dead thread.

Few questions to ask.

1) My atom life got it as second hand unit, using XP-09 battery, kinda short usage time. Thinking to get a new battery, is XP-02 alright to use? Price around RM55-65 acceptable? Saw some other type of battery with higher MAH, can I use those? Anyone use before?

2) What is the cleanest and most stable WM6.1 rom among all those link? I don't need any of the built-in software as I have most of 3rd party software that I prefered. I'm looking for a rom with no or less bugs, means I can use fully feature of it not lag here and there (stealth wm6.1 was not working on mms).

huh?? u mean ur atom life screen broken or stealth??

1) yes... i did read from other forums claiming that you can use xp-02 as ur atom life battery as well. and they say it performs better than xp-09(not sure bout tis, since i din test it b4). the price you get isnt expensive. but it depends on whether its ori or china ayam brand or better quality non-ori batts. you can choose to buy those higher mAh batteries as well. but the con side of it is tat the battery size is way bigger/thicker. and they include a customize thick cover for it. so ur atom life will become like.... pregnant

2) ermm.... it depends on ur own preference as well. the 6.1 roms with touchflo UI will look nicer. while the roms with jus normal winmo UI or HTC home UI will be simple n consume less ram, and less laggy. i cant say tat all are bug free. i'm using the 3rd one. not the latest, but currently still working fine for me. all roms are preinstalled with a lot of useful softwares n some mini winmo games. it wont eat much space anyway.

Stealth screen broken, that's why get a second hand aotm life.

Thanks for the info, currenly the WM6 works fine for me, later when got time to backup everything, will flash to WM6.1. I want something that don't have much serious bug that will cause some of the feature to be useless one, hard to choose. I stick to the WM UI all the time, simple, everything will goes through quick menu like computer start menu.

before this i go to lowyat to install software then i see they use

Although it might old but as long as it works fine then it is good enough. Try china forum if you want "free" stuff or just go to the software company and buy it.

yo atom life and exec owners. i found a wm6.5 BETA rom

though its in beta version and its in chinese language(for atom life), the exec rom is in english.
i'm uploading the links at 1st page.

get it flashed in for testings if u guys interested, but rmb to do a back up on ur current rom.

Plz take note that i take no responsibility of the risk and problem occured on ur flashing.

plz do ask if b4 you start flashing if you're not sure how to flash.

i search it on xda forums but all have been modified..
juz want a clean roms...

I'm actually thinking to make my own rom, clean all the useless thing away to free up the space and speed up the speed. Actually did it for Stealth last time but the software not working to modify registry key due to Windows language not support (need to be exactly chinese windows), perhaps now Atom life can get english software easily to mod myself.

LOL, I need time to go through all those article first. Not that fast as I'm still new to this pda, previously stuff different, just the rom extension already different. Not sure whether the same software can extract out the rom or not, and I need some software to edit the registry key too.

i juz got my o2 atom(2nd hand), I charge my battery abt 3 hours. but it still canot on. what happend to my battery?

Check the battery, perhaps something wrong with it?
