ooo... ok.
now how big is ur sd card?? max supported capacity for sd card flashing is 2gb onli.
and like i mentioned earlier. you will need to make sure that your sd card is in FAT16(on ur pda) or FAT(on ur comp).

to make sure, go to start menu(on ur pda).
settings -> system tab -> tap on ur memory card. it shud show you wat ur card format is.
shud be either FAT16 or FAT32. so make sure its FA16.

Hi all,

Any one can sugggest any good shop for repair XDA Atom.. Mine got start up Problem.

Thank you
*
wat do you mean by start up problem?? can be more specific??
actually you can go to any handphone repair shops.
at lowyat or sg wang plaza

but be sure to ask for a price quotation 1st.

if ur start up problem isnt caused by hardware failure.
then doing a hard reset or flashing in a new rom could help. no need send for repair.

so need to know more bout ur start up problem.

i reverted back to Jaime for the sake of Bluetooth Headset. There's a big flaw though, I can't seemed to make 2 calls with bluetooth. After pushing the hangup button on the BT Headset, the 2nd call will be muted or s'thing. Calls can be made but can't hear anything... sigh. I'm trying to change the Manila2D to replace Jaime's default theme...

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=425974

No luck yet... Can't find out how exactly can i change the default theme... I dled the customizer but it can't find/add any themes.

New update: I decided to reflash my phone with a clean ROM, and the new clean ROM has no issues whatsoever with Bluetooth, though I can't get Manilla2D to work when installing manually. Kept asking me to tap the screen to launch, but then nothing. Using M2DC also doesn't help. sad.gif All the other apps, I had to find manually and reinstall. Managed to find a bunch of them from the Extended ROM list, except a working HTC album...
*
I flashed to Jaime's ROM already and M2D works although it lags a lot. This ROM is horrible with the sound quality and while my battery was 62%, the phone auto off. I was just choosing a ringtone in Ringo at the time it automatically off. I saw the red light in the phone blink and then the screen dimmed to off. When i turned it on, it says battery is exhausted. Weird. rclxub.gif

Not yet. I reset it and will give it another shot. If the problems persists, have to change to PDAVIET. In the forum xda developers, i can't seem to find a thread for the PDAVIET Rom posted here. I think i should start a thread about it perhaps. hmm.gif

yea... the PDAVIET roms for exec i posted here... all i direct find from PDAVIET.

some authors(rom makers) frm PDAVIET are reluctant to share/post up their roms at xda-developers. not because they dont want to.
but some stupid forumers from xda-developers keep criticising PDAVIET roms. tis la.... tat la... wat wat complaints oso got.

Possible. The PDAVIET for Atom life is by TranMinhMan. For Atom Exec it's Sonblack. Sonblack's thread is in Vietnamese but i typed in English and it converted to Vietnamese tongue.gif I even Pm-ed SonBlack but he did not reply.

I created a thread already. Hopefully there will be some constructive replies. smile.gif

ooo... those are all add-on applications to boost ur functions at the today screen. and other apps
ermm... i saw touch commander, enlarged keyboard(spd keyboards or other keyboard apps), another sms application.
customized dial pad & eq skins.

ermm.... some are already added in cooked roms.
or you can install em manually. but you will need to search for those apps.

ahnien, i was browsing through the forum.xdadevelopers and i noticed there are core20764 and core20954. They look similar and it was created by the same person. Does it mean that the higher the core number it is updated?

Btw, what is SHDC? It's mentioned a lot in the forum.

not really, but most probably. if you know what i mean tongue.gif

i notice some core/build numbers goes backwards. i'm not sure why as well.

most probably the higher the version number, the newer it is...

need some rom cooker to clarify this hmm.gif

yeah i was quite worried. coz when booting it just stuck at the welcome screen. i was relieved when the touchscreen setup thing came up laugh.gif

regarding the rom, so far so good, everything's running quite responsive, but i still can't get the ezitext thing to work for sms. tried the htc version and it didn't work and instead caused can't be used at all. that was actually the reason why i flashed it.

I did not try it because i'm using Jaime's now. There are various choices of ROM in the forum. Some look nice.

ooo.... TJ's rom. shud be similar to Jamie's. since they are both from xda-dev and sometimes they modify each others rom.

i cant tell you if it ok or not since i dint use it b4. but you can give it a try.
but be sure to read out some of the feedbacks in that post 1st.
so it can give ur some insights of the rom smile.gif
