dont do the towel trick or the x clamp stuffs it will damage ur 360 mobo more,get it reballed.

as i know that the issue with 360 is the mobo flex when the gpu overheats so the xclamp is actually a support to not allow the mobo to flex over the limit and causing the mobo unusable.so if u remove the xclamp theres nothin there to limit the flex effext so u mobo will bcome keropok,and the towel trick is that u overheat the gpu and allow the mobo to flex even more just hoping tha t the connection between the mobo and gpu will contact. So towel trick and xclamp solution is a no no,reball is the next repair method and mod the fan.

if u dowan to lose much money buying a new console which eventually can 3rod just get a 3rod machine and get it fixed,dats what i did and just got the console 2 weeks ago and its still runnin fine i hope i can finish gears of war2,but the new falcon (i mean the latest 60gb falcon version) is nt so prone 2 3rod as the ram are already located on top of the mobo nt same like the old falcons where on top and bottom of mobo have ram chips,but its quite sceptical whether u will get the new improved mobo or not coz some new consoles sold are still using the old mobo so kinda risky but if ur a true gamer id say just go for it buy a 360 ur missing the best console gaming experience on any console made to date.

bcos console which have already done x clamp stuff mobo already warped how tech2 wana give 3month guarantee n warranty.

dat because u lucky,if once 3rod already i guess better dont on the console anymore better send it for repair,trying to on the console will result in more damage just my
