just a noob comment here...
i think the distance btwn the object and the background is nt that significant for F4.5 hence the background is nt really blurred...further more its a simple back n white background..might nt b easy to show the blur-ness of it..

just my 2cents worth tho

dunno y..somehow i feel that the focus on the food is nt so shape...u using manual focus?

I use auto focus. may be b'cos of lighting (too bright) or my Tammy got auto focus problem or my hand shake?

i think is my hand shake cos the speed is 1/8 sec.

Then, you should set the shutter fast or something like 1/2000.

What I learn, to avoid hand shake, set the shutter fast or using mono/tripod....

But, why bring those thing on dinner time? Right?

Added on November 19, 2008, 12:48 pmi can't use 1/2000 cos the environment is not bright enough.

bring tripod? no place to set it up. monopod..may be. but the security guard may think it is a weapon.
