 Camera: Canon EOS 300D (antique gear it is!) Lens: 18-55mm Kit Lens Shutter: 1/15sec Apature: f 9 ISO: 200 I'm newbie, just started to learn about Manual Mode yesterday night. This is my random shot taken at my house balcony just now. |

caiba22, there is no bokeh in your picture.
  A900, 24mm F3.5 with Cokin P113 Split Field filter and P121 3-stop Graduated Neutral Density filter. |

caiba22, sorry, there is no bokeh in your second picture, either. Everything is in sharp focus.
Bokeh is the out of focus area of the picture!  A900, 24mm F2.0. |

correct me if i may be wrong, i think some of the pictures here are actually macro shots instead of bokeh, especially when there are no "light balls" in the background?

well, bokeh just means blurred/unfocused area of the picture...
so macro kinda falls into the category as well rite? but then macro is 1:1....so mostly are close-ups rather than macro |
