1. they probably use DVD9 (8.5GB)
2. they encode the episodes using low bitrate
3. they have powerful encoder

crappy video kan?
kalau masih lagik full HD dan gambar tak pecah2 baru amek banyak space..

if he'd encoded it to a lower bitrate (crappy picture, crappy sound) so it'll take less space. and of course, using a bigger storage capacity like 8.5Gb DVD (also called DVD-9)

I think they used low bitrate, I had seen once, some DVDs quality are bad.
Some producer use DVD9 but most of them used DVD5 because the seller can charge ppl for the DVD disc( 1pc = RM5).

Normally China's DVD got fullset drama series ALL-IN-ONE...that one actually low picture quality...

Sometimes, that DVD can't readable by DVD player...

its call DVD-9. A dvd-9 supports 8-10gb(i forget), and the videos are always low quality. Thats why can squeez so many, when we burn a 1 hour show into our DVD, it only can take(well at least for me it is) 2 episodes..
