I am such an idiot. blink.gif blink.gif I tried to remove the crystal case from my newly bought NDSL (just 1 week), and I don't know why, the case is freaking hard to remove. Guess I use too much force, I pop out my L button. blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif

cry.gif I tried to push back the button but was in vain cry.gif . After trying for half an hour, I gave up, and started looking for solutions in here, google and many other place. Seems like everybody has the hinge crack problem, but no shoulder-popped-out problem. cry.gif (How stupid am I...)

Then, I decided to go visit the shop I bought last week later in the afternoon. Since it is already like that, I decided to try again. And the button is reinserted rclxms.gif rclxm9.gif !!

Guess how happy I was ! rclxm9.gif But the click sensation is no as "original" as before already. But, I have exercised it, and now seems better and better. rclxm9.gif Phew ! icon_idea.gif

P.S. : by the way, can anyone teach me how to remove a crystal case ? Because there was a greasy spot beneath the spot that give out rainbow colour.

I also don't know what brand I am using, and I ask the shop tauke to put the case for me.

Now me very "chicken" already, not dare to remove the case anymore.

hurm, did u ask the tauke how u can remove the case? As in a little demo to show u how can be removed? because I did see most crystal casing removed easily, so you should have a go through on how your's can also be done so.

everytime remove must check the volume and power switch...cause there's where the crystal case get stuck usually with the protruding switch...
so when remove, i always try to pry the volume and power switch part 1st...den only slowly remove other place...

my crystal case also almost same case. when put on, there's be some kind of oil stain looking. i asked the tauke to solve it for me and he used some window cleansing agent to wipe but still same thing.

i think it's normal for crystal case to have that oil stain looking 'cause it could be the case is placed too close to the DS.

diff casing got diff built up...so hard to see whether how to remove it
ermm...for my case, the volume switch and the power switch is the thing that blocks my crystal case from coming out...so i would recommend to remove the volume part a lil, then remove the power switch part...then after dat removal should be easy

Then, how do you remove your upper screen casing ? Did it just fallout like that or what ? I manage to remove half of my lower DS by pressing up the stylus pen area and the slot 2 area. Don't know why this stupid case make me so miserable.... Haha

A lot of dust accumulates there already...

the upper screen casing is easier to remove...cause mine is the tight fitting type without any clip on it
