i heard tat a software can slow download others people connection speed, anyone know the software name??
i share a house wit many students, they keep using xui lei cause my connection very lag, we share a router. pls help me.

how to block?? any program can divide connection to each person??

There is a program, but that means you have to be a gateway or a computer router where all net connection goes thru your computer first, then goes to other person computer. If you all connected to a router, then no use.

A better method would be to control the BT through your router but depending on which router u have, some may have this option, others dont have it. It all depends on your model and brand of router.

What model is your netgear router?

I should have an option called QOS. For linksys routers its under the application and gaming tab.

From there you can block all unnecessary ports since most ppl would just leave their bit torrent programs to auto switching ports.

Another method would be to limit their net speed rather then block ports. But its up to you how u want 2 do it.

i think the spelling is correct.block all the xunlei.although i like xunlei a lot but some ppl just download with considering

if you want to block ports you can do it on your router. then change the password to the router so only you have access to it.

this site shows u how to open ports for almost all routers - http://portforward.com/routers.htm

follow the instructions but close ports instead of opening them.
