Just a quick note to all Gurus, Greetings.

I am having some issues trying to connect my WoW with the various tunneling websites out there. All of them are giving me a headache with insanely high pings. I'm talking 16k pings here. Then, randomly disconnects me.

So my problem seems like it won't go away unless somebody has any ideas on how it could be resolved?

Thanks for your help, in advance.

The bad thing with using tunnels is, if your connection is bad, tunneling makes it worse, you should try to change ur ip till you get a suitable one.

I have lol. Without the tunnels, my 218 ip gets 350 - 400.

I stop using Tunnels. Ping is a lot better with the graphic engine modifications. Or rather, can fine-tune the Shadow Effect now. Have it down to 0 and game is so damn smooth now. Graphics are still good enough to play around with.

I tunnel through my organization's proxy server to play WoW at work, and I get better latency (~200ms) compared to when I play at home (~300ms), which is most likely because the proxy server is in Singapore, although I don't know if I'm sitting on a dedicated pipe or whether it is leased from TMnut.

Why exactly are you tunneling, anyway? It won't do you much good if you're aiming for better latency, since WoW is unstable when played through tunneling.
