am·a·teur  [am-uh-choor, -cher, -ter, am-uh-tur]
–noun
1. a person who engages in a study, sport, or other activity for pleasure rather than for financial benefit or professional reasons.

Need to explain like this meh? Use common knowledge la bradder. laugh.gif Is more like for a group of people who still "fresh" to the game to have a more knowledge by joining the game. In this case, is like giving more opportunities for cod players that doesn't have much opportunities to play competitively.

Death, can postpone it to 22nd November? Reasons:
1. 15 Nov is too near the date we finish our final exams, so really no preparation before Amateur league.
2. That's all, but it's a vital factor. smile.gif
Just my opinion.

Thx.

why WGT is only for malaysian ? winner will be representing malaysia to grand final no ?
*
What grand finals >.<

The problem that we currently face is that no international body is attempting to create a tournament based COD4 Tournament for international qualifiers. This means, no one is going anywhere >.<

Another reason would be, WGT is run locally usually to their own countrymen, so that they may participate on the international level representing their country, not team.

SO if you have a team member who is russian, he cant participate because he is RUSSIAN >.<

Well, i did push for it, however, you might want malaysian teams to win as it is a malaysian event catered to malaysians. If any other country could participate, most of the local teams will lose out unless you can match the likes of BfNuts, JEDI and XcN. It also shows how many the local participation is in the game.

Perhaps they are afraid that the local community will be destroyed by international teams seeking easy wins. I dont know, not my decision.

But all i can say is, COD4 is its first appearance in WGT for Malaysia and they might want it to be local for this year just to try out response.

true, but also means that the local community is much larger than it actually is in WGT.

Sponsors will see that and might add it permanently into WGT if the community still exists next year smile.gif

They might open it next year too. So, keep your fingers crossed.
