Dear all,

How to make your new cat don't go outside the house. My sis just gave me her siamese cat (female) yesterday. And i putting her in a cage coz don't want her 'hilang' or dissapear or someone steal it while i'm working.

She look very curious when i put her out of cage last night trying to explore and get away etc. Can somebody give me advice how to let this cat tame and not going anywhere. Now she is very manja. I'm not going to put her 24 hours inside cage..kesian ler

that is so scam. never buy cats from the net. someone here last time got scam, paying hundreds of ringgit for shipping fee (just like above) and the cat never arrived in MY.

again, if you can pure breed, buy from local breeder. we have alot of pedigree cat cattery here locally. if u r not satisfy with their cat, then you can ask them international breeder. sure they have good contact.

Hey guys...

Whatch out of this scam!!...they always want u to give them your name and address. Why?? if they got your name and address i'm afraid they will send unnecessary items ie. Drugs maybe! and sometime they said they want to adopt to u the cat to your house.

BE AWARE guyss!! Dont simply give your address or what so ever...your account no etc etc your particulars...they just attract u anything mann....

Added on March 24, 2009, 12:27 pmOne more thing...now they using website such as mudah.com, addpost, picknpost and barang.my. Watch out all these scams...

how old is your cat anyway?

have you ever visit vet? vaccine? deworming?

Are you feeding wet food all the time?

--

im not sure if it is adult or kitten, kitten will always be faster eater, but if your kitten is slow eater, you need a vet.

if u never visit vet before, now it's time to wake up. vaccine your cat and deworm them. check the health status on why they don't eat that much.

wet food won't give your cat much nutrition. Get your cat a good quality dry food, such as royal canin, science plan, iams, orijen, etc. If your cat has weight problem, then you can choose kitten food, since kitten dry food contain a lil bit higher nutrition.

lastly, check your cat weight and age. if he/she is on average weight which is a good weight while eating less, then there's nothing to worry about. Unless your cat is under weight then you need a wake up call to do something. ask vet for advice.

but if vet say your cat is average weight, but you still want him/her to be fat, remember, fat always lead to sickness.

so think about, do you want yourself to be happy having fat fat cat, or having a happy cat with solid body. cat by nature born to have a solid body like cat in the wild.
*
Yeah agreed with Al,

My mother in law always believe that giving wet food to cats give the cats more nutrition. I always object and argue her on this. When i bought dry food for the cats (usually i bought RC or Iams) I ask her to give the cats, but at last she always give the cat nasi and mixed with fish or sometime add some fish skeleton.

I'm afraid that the cats will loose weight, FYI my cats are mix breed; i have persian, local and siamese. I'm afraid the persian would have problems in the future. They can eat nasi or not? Hehe...

Dear all,

Kindly need you guys help and suggestions. Since 2 days ago my female DLH cat (Jeny) refused to eat but only drink. She is now 3 months old. Yesterday I went to vet but the vet said Jeny is fine and not infected with any decease. Today she looks worse, very thin. I blend food (RC kitten + water) feed her using sringe, hope she will be fine.

Any help and suggestion? Thanks a lot guys...

bro..i was wondering... how many cats do you have now?

one of your cat just past away right? and another one kurus like the one before?

If YES, CORRECT... i smell something fishy lah bro.. like, your cats has similar problem? are they siblings or different family?
*
Al,

Last time i have 4 cats, 1 died (DLH - Jeny) so now 3 left. 1 DLH female 4months (not same sibling as Jeny) and other 2 Local breed (Taby 3months). These 2 taby looks kurus a bit as i told earlier.

I'm not mixing in a same cage with the DLH. They are in other cage. Just monitor yesterday. Looks good they eat well.

it's look like you are new with kitten and cat?

none of them ever visit vet? vaccine, deworm and health check up?

that age, is it estimate or the correct one with date of birth?
*
Yes, i'm new with kitten and cat thats why need some opinion.

Those 2 tabby date of birth is 15 Jan 2009 nearly around 3 months. Not yet getting 1st vet or dewormed coz i dont want to be the same incident like Jeny before thats why. Maybe next week will do after they getting fatter.

Any other suggestions?
