I don't know about XoticPC's shipping, but the shipping here from LPC-Digital was $149.50 or RM457.22. Might be similar to that.

It's RM227 I think.

I was thinking of US as well but for warranty purposes SG is a lot nearer. So I don't have to worry too much when it's in transit to SG.

Yes, the shipping cost is only MYR227 (express & insured delivery via Danzas).

Haha, of course it's cheaper tongue.gif.

I decided with USA because it's cheaper overall (based on my specs); SG based Sager would be about RM5.6K with shipping, USA based Sager is RM5K with shipping. I saved RM600, but lose the ability to use my warranty closer to MY (like the poster above me, who still can have warranty).

However, I am confident that I won't need the warranty so...just a matter of getting a cheaper laptop, and plus I will be conducting my own upgrades and repairs, unless something serious happens. I'm rarely back in Malaysia anyway so blush.gif

Matter of preference I would say; by all means go for Mucro.Asia, because they are the closest Sager reseller to MY.

Almost right, but I have the Intel 6200 Wireless + IC Diamond + 500GB HDD 7200RPM (They gave for free brows.gif but I have my own). Which totals up to RM5K.

EDIT: Think i made a mistake counting the numbers on my previous total for Mucro..shouldn't be 5.6K haha. Probably with the 485m

The total cost including postage was MYR7K+
Not only Mucro, all "Clevo" vendors will get the stock by early Feb.
I heard there could be further delay, especially the 8170.
It sells like hot cakes.

Yeah, that's what they told me. Stock in by early Feb, most configurations out by mid Feb.

The rush job bit seemed expensive so I guess I'll be waiting a while!
