QUOTE(ff8ong @ Oct 18 2008, 07:18 PM) Recently my phone drop by my friend and cause dead pixel on my iPhone screen. Later i pass my phone wah that really serious~ need to go repair again, something wrong in the inside 'i think'to Crxr to fix it and change the whole LCD panel which total cost RM850,problem solve nicely. But the problem is my telco signal, wifi signal and battery life getting bad after the replacement LCD,which i realize 2 day later when i get back my phone.. Today while i still using the phone afternoon with wifi and safari(battery is pretty low, which around 20%),suddenly battery drop badly and the phone go blank..So i just plug it into my dock and let it charge as usual but the phone just display apple logo instead showing the BIG RED BATTERY LOGO...The phone just dont boot up,i try plug in into my mac but it doesn't detect anything even sleep+home button...now the only respond is i plug with my power adapter and it show apple logo for 6 sec and go blank again(still can see the black surface on the screen,i mean no backlight only)dunno how to explain.. Need some body help me here....thanks!!i will meet crxr this sunday... rm850 for the LCD huhu, so much money you invest in your iPhone. |

like twinkles said, myb u wanna discuss with your screen repairer.
previously i also asked someone to replace my iPhone screen and when i got it back it lost phone signal (on that time i was aware bout that as the repairer person said to me that he need to do some further testing, but i need to get the iPhone on that time as i want to perform data recovery). and after that i send it back and now the iPhone got its signal fixed. myb what i post here doesn't really help as me myself dunno what's actually going on, but yeah after i send it to the repairer it works now. looks like a hardware related problem to me. |

Er.... Ur not saying he forgot to screw back a nut or a screw or something like that are U?! *gulps*
Speaking of which, I thought the iPhone batteries are hidden 'inside' the phone - if so, how on earth did it fall out? |

not to make you worry even more, perhaps other components are no longer attached well or loosen already ? As if I'm not wrong, the WiFi and the phone signal is one of the Chip-On-Board (COB) components.... probably this one caused the signal dropped suddenly...
Hope it wasn't caused by the components I mentioned. Also hope crxr will able to fix your phone though after in-depth checking. |
