ur definition of passive cooling means fanless ?? in tht case, maybe CM z600 suits u. but its very huge considering its size and weight.

This case is not like the other SFF. Its dimensions are slightly bigger. I'm using it as well...

Too bad, it wasn't a "real" SFF.

Found a interesting HSF although it isn't a passive one. The Thermaltake Pipe101. Tons of review showing the features and the performance. Full copper with heat pipes, something telling me that this could be the chosen one. Who knows? Any more recommendation from all sifu and pro here?

Your HTPC is SFF or ATX HTPC case???
Anyway lah,if ever intend to passive cool, airflow is important wink.gif
Go and plan how the fan to be place in case before you think of HSF

SFF. I kno airflow is important. But higher airflow = more noise!

dude, thats a mighty big hard disk. hurm..

but more airflow means cooler PC temp. maybe u can put soundproofing material in ur casing to dampen the noise.. if its making too much noise..

Despite using passive cooling, you would need a casing with intake and exhaust fan right?

I suggest Aopen G326 - look for rockrock

It's less than RM200 and you can attach a big fan at the back
