From what I can see, is that we're going to progress maybe 10 years later, as the "little sisters" looks to be in their teenage years.

Really really really looking forward to going back to Rapture.

10 years in the future - but the ending of Bioshock has two endings, good and bad... how will this affect Bioshock 2 ? Or will Bioshock 2 just start the way it wants to...

I can imagine... the drop dead gorgeous world of Bioshock again...

But my guess? It won't be the Original Rapture. Maybe one that the little sisters create? Judging by the way they can raise the sand in the shape of rapture? And maybe they just can't let go of their "big daddies"?

... I actually thought they are doing a sequel where it is 10 years before the events of Bioshock...

imagine those Splicers - - normal, walking, talking people... then something happens and the untouched/undamaged world of Rapture falls apart. That would be awesome. All the performers/musicians normal people, doing their thing...

You revisit places you have been in BioShock 1 but in perfect condition. Big Daddies work in a good way... I can see this happening but 10 years in the future is quite strange and will be very interesting.

Back to topic..... forgot where I read, but it says it's both a prequel AND a sequel. I hope that the first "training" level takes place in rapture just minutes before all hell breaks loose. You know? The whole new year's party in rapture before the splicers broke in and massacred everyone? That would be an interesting period of Rapture to live. See it in it's glory days, and then it's destruction.

Then maybe the game jumps 10 years ahead of the last game and shows a different Rapture perhaps? Something like Jurassic Park: The Lost World..... you know? Site B or something like that. Or maybe there was more then 1 Rapture? Who Knows. It'll be DAMN interesting to find out though!

Considering that they place the location as being the Atlantic Coast, I am more inclined to think that this takes place on the surface. Andrew Ryan's final master plan maybe?

Maybe the big sisters are trying to go BACK into the sea? Again, notice the way the little sister is staring INTO the ocean?

But the barnacles of the Logo at the end could suggest that something surfaced FROM the ocean.

but I didn't know Big Daddy can walk so.... "fast" ?

i don't think the big daddy we will control looks like the big daddy we see at Bioshock 1. since he's the 1st big daddy in rupture so i'm guessing he's just wearing the tank mask with normal body size and built. maybe he's not mutated yet to the real big daddy (probably in the end of the game perhaps? )

The initial response to the first gameplay footage was largely negatively received. This is because, everyone (I'd say almost) expected it to depart from the usual "Rapture" scenes. Its basically Bioshock with new enemies, weapons and story, but still Rapture.

I really hope we get to go "out" of the ocean, meaning actual land. Now that would be crazy. Imagine a Big Daddy running towards a farm house.

I also surprise to learn that PA already put this game under Promotion Items. The game out less than 1 month and so far not much hype (compare with COD:MW2 or BF2:BC)

Nevertheless, i still playing Dante Inferno ...

I suspect BioShock 2's complicated and puzzling storyline made this game not received very well.

Plus, it doesn't appeal to those who didn't play the first BioShock because of its continuation in the storyline.

Just finished playing. Overall think this is a boring game but managed to finish it as i like Bioshock 1. The last stage basicly i just rush around rooms, keep tapping a to get all the items don't really even bother to hack machines as was getting impatient.

The graphic is not as spectacular as the 1st, cutscenes, not much cutscenes. The end CG in the 1st was better even though shorter than this.

Radio collected doesn't give much insight on the mystical world of rapture or the horror within Rupture, just revolves around Elaine & Subject Delta.

Characters are boring and seems not much connection. Story is not interesting at all.

Finally, there's not even 1 boss fight. Not even 1... There's no scary or unique characters in this game. The big daddy/sister doesn't give the scary feeling as in 1 where you feel like a little man fighting a monster. Sure they take lots of bullet to defeat but unlike the 1st where they can kill you in few hits this one you can keep avoiding the attacks.

Weird.....I keep on get pwned by big sisters.....

But I'm on the hardest settings....

But well, the story is not so engaging and intense is for sure. but still fun to play though and the Multiplayer is just funny.

Big sisters are not easy to fight, but then they are not scary at all, just like a ninja jumping around kicking your butt.

I had problem with the big sister in the opera theatre because i did not expect her to attack with loads of splicers. It's very tight spot and i was low on plasmid, if not would not be that difficult if you are prepared.

So what's the difference between different difficulties?

1.Do enemies deal more damage and have more health?
2.Do you get less ammo?
3.Do hacking become tougher?
4.More enemies?

Alot of times the big guys just happen to show up unexpectedly, together with a big sister or big daddy, which is good in 1 way but you end up dying.

Another good thing is this time you got time to heal when your life goes to 0.

I never tried other difficulties....so tak tau

advocado, on the hardest mode the enemies do much more damage,maybe some helath increased. So that could lead u to using up more ammo.Big Sisters are extremely annoying/tough on tht difficulty.

Hmm 170 still a good bargain! Anyone who had not get Bioshock 2, should totally get it haha. I already got my 2nd hand copy earlier. But the things that comes with it is really nice. I like these kind of old school design...should be during the 50s-60s.
