may i ask if i use credit card to buy online jersey ..how bout the bank will charge?
*
Sorry mate, your question is a bit funny... how bout the bank will charge?

I assume you want to know how will the bank charge? The bank will charge la like normal. Will appear few days later in the cc statement.

They might call you back and ask for confirmation if it's done for the first time.

How much they will charge? Depends on each bank and the currency exchange. Meaning they will convert the amount from GBP/USD to MYR and then will have some extra charges (%) depending on bank.

Guys, do you know where can get big jersi other than buy online,
every year got to but online for xxxl or bigger.
But can't bear the cost anymore.
*
As chcher said... there are indeed some good bargains for XXXL kits in ebay.

ebay is the best place to get them.. with cheaper prices. But then have to be careful of authenticity.

Real One does sometimes brings in 3XL kits.. try going to them and asking them.... but they rarely bring in, maybe per order.. from Singapore.

I remember one time, Nike Boutique store in grond floor, BB plaza (same level of KFC and McDonalds) selling arsenal 3XL kits...

There were some United kits.. XXL and 3XL got..

There were some Arsenal kits..

user posted image
The jerseys were discounted and sold for RM181.50

This caught my eye.. 3XL.

Bare in mind, these photos were taken in 30th May 2008.. so I doubt these kits are still around.. and if you see in the price tag photo above, only 1 3XL kit was available..

You can try looking first at local shops but they are very very hard to find due to low demand in Malaysia market. Then no choice but to get them online..

I'm An Arsenal Fan, so I has been buying the last 2 Arsenal Shirt thru Arsenal.Com, and end up pay to my father more than RM200.00 (Because using his card) the shirt itself cost 40 pound
In Ebay I always doubt the authenticity of some shirt, sometime the offer is too good to be true.
but seeing on the picture RM180.00 for the shirt..!!!!  drool.gif
this year away shirts is really tempting

Must go the shop u mention next time going to KL.
I also wondering if I can order the jersy via local nike shop. hmm.gif

btw guys, tq for the info  notworthy.gif
it really help me. cant wait to go back to kl after this.

I see.. and you can only wear 3XL?

Actually if you want to buy online, the easiest, safest and cheapest way (with option to buy 3XL size kits) is via Kitbag.

http://www.kitbag.com/stores/kitbag_4_5/de...portal=MXUKJ98E

For example, kitbag is still seling Arsenal's away kit long sleeve 3XL:

http://www.kitbag.com/stores/kitbag_4_5/pr....aspx?pid=43421

You can select to use UPS or Royal Mail shipping services. The price of the kit if you purchase from kitbag, is not so expensive like buying from arsenal.com

So far I haven't seen it being sold at shops locally..

Maybe you have to opt to buy online via kitbag or United Direct.

*
You have to contact maybank credit card services and ask if they allow the usage of their visa debit card with paypal.

By default it's not configured to be used with paypal

i got one question, why did adidas glued the seams on player issue jersey, while the replica they stitched it? is the glue more durable that the stitches?
thanx in advance
*
Glued seams:
Pros - Lighter and less irritable
Cons - Shorter lifespan

Stitched seams:
Pros - Longer lifespan, easy to repair if torn
Cons - Not as light and comfortableas glued seams.

How long do you wear your jerseys? How long does a player wear their jersey on the pitch and the whole life of it..

but the player wear the jersey in very 'ganas' situation... if glued seams not durable there will be millions of player ripping their jersey during a match.
i think glued seams is durable but not long lasting.
*
I've never said the glued seams are not durable..

I've said, shorter lifespan.

You've already answered your question...

Hi jerseyman,

would you help me to check whether the above is genuine kit or not.

Appreciate your reply fast as I'm pending more inner tags pics from this seller.

Thanks.
*
Hi.

Be patient ya.. I just drove and came back all away from Penang..

For all the 4 kits.. You don't have to see the inner tags, from my naked eyes I can tell it's 100% authentic for all the 4 kits.

Anyway, for extra knowledge for LYN members.. want to share some info on the Treble kit.

There are 2 batch of production for the Man United Treble kit (with zip on collars). First batch was in 1998 and second was in 1999.

The Treble Home kit sold in the LYn sales thread is the first batch version. First batch version has a full foam printed umbro logo (on top) while the second batch has umbro logo with half-full embossed (on bottom) :

user posted image

See how the letters B and R look different in terms of foam solidness

..and the first batch has 'TM' stitched below the MUFC crest (on bottom), instead of the R logo on second batch (on top):

user posted image

Finally the first batch was made in UK, second batch was made in China (umbro starting to outsource kit manufacturing in China beginning in 1999).

@jerseyman : i saw that jersey with ykk's zip. the zip thats always used on school pants. and the umbro is half embossed. how about that? the second batch used ykk's zip?
*
YKK? Then it's fake.

So far, the zip must have 'UMBRO' written on it.

Then the jersey by dewasayo is ori or not? confused here...  rclxub.gif

but according to him via sms there is umbro wording on the zip, so it's ori i guess?
*
It's ori la coz the zip shown in the photos shows UMBRO printed on the zip.

redscorpion's earlier posting is confusing you I guess..

you saw that jersey? what jersey?

I've seen before a fake version of the treble jersey where it has a half foam embossed umbro logo on it (poor quality anyway) and the zip has YKK written on it and is a cheap thin zip, compared to the round one with a round handle and umbro wordings on the zip.

But the one I see sold by dewasayo is the authentic one...

Thanks for informing about the promotions at united direct kmheing!!
Btw, anyone bought from united direct using the standard delivery(6.95 pounds) before? is it safe(arrive safely to address) ?
*
It is not 100% safe. I know people who has packages missing unfortunately, maybe because of Raya season...

They have no tracking mechanism and the parcel is delivered by Pos Malaysia as a normal pos. They might leave it at the post box in front of your house if you're not around at home..

Nope. Pricing wise, different... Kitbag offers lots of sale and cheaper pricing. But United Direct for example is the only store online selling the UCL Winners patches.

Hi all

PLEASE HELP MY ORI Man United jersey T_T

can i use super glu like UHU or elephant to paste it back??
or got any better way ??? please teach me T_T

user posted image
*
1. Put some gam gajah (not uhu glue.. gam gajah is better).
2. Press it with your hands for 10-20 seconds..
3. Then cover the area with some plain cloth, iron on top of it. Make sure the iron's heat is medium (2 dots). Press a bit as well.. do this for 10 seconds.
4. Let it cool for some minutes.
5. Terbalikkan the jersey, do the same time again near the area where the white line sits (which is on the sizing info area). Cover it with cloth and press it with the iron for 10 seconds.

Be extra careful on doing it..

waaa so fast response T_T
thx for listing down the steps in so details

will try and let u all know the result..

thx q so much T_T
*
No problem mate..

The key here is the usage of iron to help bond it.. Heat makes the glue bond better, trust me. I did it before.

But be careful because the iron can melt the white stripe and the sizing info (because it's made out of polyuthrene or PU).
