I made this account because I want to know exactly what this PEP does. I nvr had Lowyat account...=.="
1.) I was chosen for the 26/7 PEP 42 (-What does PEP 42 Means?)
2.) How many stages for this PEP 42? What does it consist?
3.) How long does it take to get the results of the 1st Stage and what is the Interval from the Results Announced for the 1st Stage to the 2nd Stage?
I just want to know the whole time it takes for all these process to complete...IF I MANAGE TO GET TO STAGE 2 THAT IS.
4.) How does Mechanical Engineer helps in TNB? Any experienced Engineer here whom could help to explain?
I guess that's all for now.
Kinda nervous to see only few people will be chosen.
Let me answer your questions.
1) PEP - Program Eksekutif Pelatih. It's like a management trainee programme. PEP 42 means it is the 42nd batch since its inception
2) PEP programme lasts for a year, after which you will be confirmed as a permanent staff (if they accept you lah..normally they hardly reject you after 1 year unless you didn't perform). During the PEP programme, you'll be going for lots of structured training at TNB's training institute. Also after confirmation, you'll get pay rise.
3) This really depends on HR recruitment strategy. Sometimes the gap between the stages is short, sometimes is longer.
4) Mechanical engineers will probably be sent to power stations, involved in development of new power stations, Remaco..basically to generation business. But I know they have sent mechanical engineers to group internal audit, planning etc.
