Cheer Jam 2008 cheerleading camp and conference

The Cheerleading Association and Register of Malaysia (CHARM) will be organising the country's very first camp and conference.

Date: Dec 11-13 (Camp), Dec 13-14 (Coaches conference)
Venue: UM - Dewan Gemilang (Dewan 12) and Pusat Sukan

Camp and conference will be conducted by NCSSE's Anne Gorman and the instructors from the International Cheer Union in the USA.

Cheerleaders from all around the world will be attending - Korea, Singapore, etc.

There will be theory and practical classes. Classes include:
Innovative stunt sequences I & II - for all-girl/all-boy/co-ed
Teaching Tosses I
Pyramids All Girl (or all boy)
Effective practice methods - in cheer and dance
Choreography I
Jump Technique
Ideas from Videos and How to use Them

Camp fee:

Those who book and pay up by Nov 9 will be entitled to the Earlybird Special fee of RM150 (for CHARM members) and RM175 (for non-CHARM members).

After Nov 9, the fee will be RM180 for CHARM members and RM200 for non-members.

Fees include meals and a camp t-shirt.

Fees for the coaches conference to be confirmed soon.

Do we have to stay overnight at the place?

Hi! No, this is not a stay over camp =) We are opening up a0 Beginners section for those who want to learn about Cheerleading.
