I have just bought Gadmei GM2400 AV Wireless Transmitter for Astro. Unfortunately, the remote control is not functioning maybe the frequency is not the standard 433mhz. Anyone has the same experience and any work around?

It doesn't belong here. Anyhow anyone knows how much does a similar AV Wireless transmit costs ?

i got the same problem. any solution for this? quite an old thread, just trying my luck..

read the astro manual. there is a guide how to change your remote control compatible with old decoder.

On 14 June, I went to Games Connection store in USJ Digital Mall to purchase this Gadmei 2400 at RM290 with 1 year warranty (1 to 1 exchange). Sales girl told me they got branch in lowyat. I knew it could be expensive, but if I were to travel to KL and spend unnecesary petrol and parking fees, it could be worth it.

Brought back home, one of the adapter is not working. I lazy to go back there and change it, so next day I go back to office and bought a new adapter (Adjustable).

I start set it up and managed to get it work, except the remote control. Following week, I bring over to the shop to claim the faulty adapter. Then, sales girl ask me to put it there to claim for warranty, and they don't have stock at the moment, need to deliver from LowYat. Ask me to wait for 1 week. Few days later (Wednesday), she call me, said need more time, as the sales person did not come over to deliver the replace unit. Ask me to wait for another 1 week, which is this week.

Few hours ago, I call up (016-3316364) to check if my replacement unit has arrived. Then a young man pickup the call, he said the salesman did not bring back any unit to replace yet. So I complain why took so long, then he said "All the while I've been dealing with this device, and it doesn't need 2 adapters, just one is enough. Even in the manual also draw one adapter only!", then I said there is 2 adapters in the box, and one of them not working for sure I bring back. Then he is not happy and said "Since you insist it is faulty, then I send back to supplier la, and I don't even bother to check, you just wait lo!"

I was like "wtf you talking about, is this how you do your business?!", now he blame me for insisting the product faulty! WTF IS THIS?!

Tomorrow I'm going there to question them, and I demand justice in this!

Please becareful of their branches, you might be the next victim!

Hi,

I am facing the same problem, I can't change astro channel on the receiver side either

Anyway, my AV transmitter/receiver is Gadmei GM2400 and my astro decorder is Nokia made (black color) with a remote control which has ponited end shape.

Anybody has any idea how to resolve this issue?

Yup! It is always the 'after sales service & support'..
Have you tried enquiring from them? At least via email? Fax?
