Let's say i only have 20gb of hdd for the OS, will it be sufficient to install vista 64 ulti on that drive? microsoft site stated minimum is 15gb but some guys in other forum said might even need 40gb? rclxub.gif

btw, my games will be on the other drive, not the 20gb

it will choke, if u include other updates, drivers and stuff
mine just installed Office and drivers, as well as updates, already taken up almost 40GB

I installed Vista on 15GB and updated everything including SP1, this was original Vista Ultimate 32-Bit (SP1 after updated). I only had 3GB free space.

not to mention updates and microsoft office.. 20GB is enough for your OS only and maybe some minor programmes.. or you can also install microsoft office in other HDD

i say u better have 40gb for safety......
im using vista 32 ulti and still have 7gb left....my games in the other drive too

I divided my 160GB HDD into 3 parts,
C: 40GB[Vista Partition]
D: 80GB[Files+Medias]
E: 40GB[Games]

even i didnt install any games in C:...C: ady used 20GB+
SO better prepare 40GB for yr vista ultimate
