i say spend abit more for a branded guitar tuner. but dun go overboard la.

u'll always use the tuner, so its worth spending just a little bit more.
so many available in the market. take a pick which one is your fancy.

It's best to get a good tuner like the Boss TU-80 so that you achieve right tuning. As for the nut remover, what's that?If you wanna remove the nut, place a piece of block on your frets, gently knock the nut.It should pop out easily. It's a little risky because it may peel off the finish beside the nut,so heat it.I use hairdryer to heat the glue under the nut.I heated my old kapok long enough last time that it just popped out without me knocking out the nut.

yeah ler. for electronics, most of the time u pay for what u get.
erm what do u mean by analogue ones? i think most of them is digital right nowadays.

this is my tuner - Ibanez MU 30.

its quite okay ler. but duno why last time it sucked my batteries dry in 1 week, and i know for sure that i switched it off. nowadays it seems okay for no reason sweat.gif

it does its job so far. no complaints. i think its an okay entry level tuner.
somore got metronome brows.gif

Fender AG-6. Analog guitar tuner but it uses battery.

If you mean a tuner with a needle and it operates without any battery, that has to be a metronome:
