I've been playing Call of duty 4 since January 2008.

I've been also playing multiplayer since then.

Im using Original Copy of Call of duty 4 to play .

Recently , my computer kena lightning strike so i send for repair.

It seems that my PSU gone but my Motherboard is still fine. So i change

to a new PSU. After my PC came back , i tried to load COD4 MP ( Multiplayer )

and it just stuck at the loading screen ( the green colour soldier guy ).

Any idea what cause it? I just reinstall and still same problem.

This problem occur after the lightning strike. So is there anything to do

with my PC?

or once u run it let it wait a while like mine ^^

yeah , i suspect is the harddrive , but the computer shop guy that repair
my pc say the harddrive is fine, i still got all the files anyway.

and when i usually load cod4 mp it will take 2 seconds the most...but now..
forever or never.

i running on windows xp 32bit currently.

PS: OMG! I can't even update PB for COD4 now..what the heck.

EDIT: I can play SP but noT MP! I cant Update PB!!! Don't tell me i need to buy new computer!

You got another hard drive a not? Try install COD on the other HD and run from there. If can run then maybe it is really your HD fault.

BTW, can load single player also ah?

yeah! its pretty wierd. i can play Single player smoothly finely.

but i can't load Multi player.

PS: PB Can update d..now i downloading patch 1.6 and patch 1.7 and i gonna try again.

Actually no point buying another Harddrive because my current harddrive got all my

Brother's WOW(world of warcraft ) Addons and musics .

You got try switching from SP to MP then?

yeap , still same prob. now i waiting to update till patch 1.7 and see how.

maybe driver issues? motherboard driver try reinstall all drivers, if still cant best way is clean install
