TS, my advice to your friend should to go see doctor as earlier as possible if you have try any cream from the pharmacy but it's not working. please put down all the egos.. you don't want to stuck with eczema for a long long time.. as I have experience with eczema for 7 years!! yes, 7 years.. it's a long time.. i have used a lot of money and time.. I have used 4 years to cure my eczema.. Initially, my condition wasn't that bad, only my left hand had a small pot of eczema.. so i went to pharmacy and bought some brand of cream for eczema. after applied it, it gets better but after some time, it got worse until both hands got affected. I had used different types of creams for eczema from pharmacy, but they are useless.. so ended up, i went to a skin specialist... and went through all the treatment for this eczema..
The doctor told me, if you have apply any cream for the eczema for sometime and it's not working.. don't continue apply it, as it might not suitable..
Lastly, start the treatment when it isn't that serious... otherwise you will cry if your eczema gets worse coz those treatment are nightmare..

I am suffering from eczema as well. I could not believe this when the doctor told me that I am suffering from eczema. And the sad things is the skin specialist straight away informed me that it is unable to be cure and I will have eczema for whole life... shakehead.gif  sweat.gif

That time, I felt sad like almost dying soon... sweat.gif

I did tried chinese herb and went for Chinese sensei and spent about RM400-500 per month, drinking 2 packs of dark smelly herbs everyday...that is really suffer man..

Now it has been reduced gradually after I changed my lifestyle. Sleep early, exercise, less stress...
I have stayed away from alcohol, cigarette, coffee, fried and spicy food for some period of time.

yeah.. eczema is not easy to cure but there's a way to do it.. i'm a example.. it will continuously come back or spreading when the spot of eczema when it's recovering, this is because under your skin the bacterial is spreading.. you need to fully kill all the bacterial under your skin to cure your eczema.. this is the treatment which i did past few years.. if you experienced for few years with eczema but it's getting worse, you can ask your specialist write you a letter for GH's skin specialist. I did my eczema treatment in GH's specialist for 4-5 years.. it's another option for you if you want..
initially, my ezcema was treated by my house doctor until 2-3 years, he had give-up and recommended me to GH's skin specialist.

it's full recovery, but the treatment is killing ppl.. but it's takes time.. i still can remember those white cream i need to apply to whole body after bath.. and i only allowed to take only one bath time per day.. those white cream made my skin very pain... that's the most painful treatment i ever had...
