hi. well, i have a problem and it's about my friend. she just found out that she has eczema. she didn't go to the doctor, she just knew cuz she said that she has a friend who has eczema and she made her own 'diagnosis' by relating the condition of her skin with the symptoms of eczema she read on the internet and by making mental comparison between her skin and her friend's eczema-ed skin.
thing is, she refuses to go to the clinic based on a reason - she doesn't like the idea of showing the eczema to the doc. shy maybe. ego maybe. i don't know. *sigh*
so is there any natural DIY treatment, or any cream that you could buy in phamacy that is to treat eczema? i've tried to persuade her in seeking doctors but it's just, useless. i feel sorry for her when she feels itchy, but couldn't scratch for afraid that it would make her skin worse.
Heya. I have light eczema too. I know that it's my fault too since I bath hot water all the time, even in the afternoon. Sometimes right after that, I go into an air conditioned room. Nothing happened after a few years, but one day I noticed dry skin and it would not go away.thing is, she refuses to go to the clinic based on a reason - she doesn't like the idea of showing the eczema to the doc. shy maybe. ego maybe. i don't know. *sigh*

My doctor recommended me Balneum lotion. So you could get the same for your friend but the thing is, there are 2 types of Balneum lotion. The normal one is sold at pharmacies around you but the one I'm using is a more intensive version so it happens to cost more. And I just can't seem to spot it anywhere. Guess it's dispensed by doctors only. Try the basic version and if it works you won't have to spend more on the intensive version.
And oh, I have no more eczema after that.
