For me, I prefer fabric seats. Why so?
Fabric seats; 1) Doesn't slip when you take corners 2) Not hot under hot sun! 3) However it's not waterproof 4) More colours yes! Funky ones too 5) Dusty Leather seats; 1) Slippery when you take corners 2) Exclusive look!. Not too many colours available 3) Hot under the sun 4) Waterproof! |

rm8k for regular sedan, you can get a real good quality leather that only traps less than 50% heat compared to the full/semi leather seats.

Only cons for the fabric seats is kena-tumpah Kopi-O, other than that it sure is more comfortable than leathers incl the squeks when we move our butts around.

QUOTE(EyraYus @ Oct 13 2008, 12:57 PM) QUOTE(soyaben86 @ Oct 13 2008, 01:07 PM) leather: easy to clean. hot when it's sunny day. keep you warm when it's raining day. expensive. look very prestige. depend wat car you are using too. some ppl like the smell of it. fabric: cooling. cannot clean that easy. but nowadays got many high tech cleaner also got many high tech fabric that might have an easy way to clean. not that expensive. lots of choice compare to leather. QUOTE(eddyann @ Oct 13 2008, 01:52 PM) leather not nice to me. when doing sharp turns and high speed corners, my butt always kinda slippery to the left and to the right haha. not enough friction to hold u firmly QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Oct 13 2008, 02:13 PM) I saw ppl wrapping their recaro N-joy with leather ... lolz.. Still prefer fabric.. Leather when it gets old .. it will look cracked ... UGLY!! .. with little amount of $$ .. u can just rewarp the fabric... QUOTE(sebnimh84 @ Oct 13 2008, 04:57 PM) For me, I prefer fabric seats. Why so? Planning to get the new Honda accord. Same technology available on that car?Fabric seats; 1) Doesn't slip when you take corners 2) Not hot under hot sun! 3) However it's not waterproof 4) More colours yes! Funky ones too 5) Dusty Leather seats; 1) Slippery when you take corners 2) Exclusive look!. Not too many colours available 3) Hot under the sun 4) Waterproof! Slipping-I get when ride the Perdana V6 in corners, I don't really like that. The cracking in leather seats is because you don't polish it? I heard that maintaining leather seats is harder than fabric seats. Need to wipe all the time or something compared to fabric just vacuum. |
