i like the colour of these pictures, but i am wondering the "distraction head" in the image is telling any story?

QUOTE(lek0010 @ Oct 18 2008, 12:22 PM) Added on October 18, 2008, 12:32 pm hai, joyyy, can ask a question? how's ur tamron 70-300? performance price n post some shot with it pls..... Though camera shake is really a problem. I had to bump up the ISO and use my flash to get a fast shutter speed to decrease camera shake This one's taken at 228mm @ ISO 800 using the lens' macro mode Aperture set at 7.1 to decrease PF and CA 248mm ISO 800 F7.1 Still trying to get used to the increased minimum focusing distance |

Hey guys, just wanna evaluate the general opinion of the public regarding HDR.
Between the two HDR pics, which one do you prefer and if possible, why. Both generated with Photomatix with a single RAW file. 18mm F11 1/15s The first one gives a kinda surreal mood. ![]() The second one looks more abstract. ![]() I personally prefer the first one though. |

QUOTE(lek0010 @ Oct 20 2008, 12:51 AM) Oh,that's mean we cant can a perfect shot at once....?? The human eye has a higher dynamic range than the camera sensor. hv 2 leave sm 2 under n pp it 2 make it perfect.... coz i thought once a day i can hv a shot like my avatar shot.......a pro shot it at sempona anyway ,thk ur sharing ....really learn a lot from u Moreover the human eye is extremely adaptive, it reacts to tiny changes instantaneously so you'll always see the "best" image Like da3shou3 said, you can achieve higher dynamic range by utilizing a GND filter, but the GND cant be used for All occasions. The GND has a specific pattern in which only certain scenes and landscapes can fit properly. Or you could go HDR |

QUOTE(lek0010 @ Oct 21 2008, 08:32 AM) oh ....is it ur camera shadow on the btm left? Actually HDR means high dynamic range. In HDR pictures one should be able to see details in the shadows and highlight. As good as that picture may be, that picture cannot be considered a HDR picture if you ask me.0.6 sec mean u hand held or using tripod.....?? anyway good shoot... Added on October 21, 2008, 9:29 am this is the best HDR i ever see..... totally shock me like 10k watt....... This post has been edited by joyyy: Oct 21 2008, 02:01 PM |

QUOTE(PCcrazy @ Oct 29 2008, 08:22 PM) If you ask me 200mm is not enough for birds. The ideal would be 600mm f4, if no budget the push pull 100-400 f4.5-5.6L is good already. At least you have the versatility. Furthermore most of the bird shooting is outdoor where light condition is normally good if not best. 70-200 F2.8L + 2x Extender? |
