I mean perhaps you could use ya 50mm f1.4 at big aperture e.g. f2.0 to shoot that little girl on the bag instead of using ya CZ 16-80mm to blur the distracting motor at the back. Let's move on to something different. Camera : Canon EOS Focal length : 12mm Shutter Speed : 1/15s Aperture : f5.0 ISO : 200 This post has been edited by vikingw2k: Nov 19 2008, 06:36 PM

I afraid that ya CZ might not be able to perform well due to the small aperture and you'll need to pump ya ISO up to get more shutterspeed. Having said so, your 50mm might be a little too long for wedding especially when you are shooting indoor and many people around you. Since you only have these 2, just bring both of them. Your CZ gonna be helpful when you wanna shoot group pictars. Later on when you have more bucks to splash, get yourself a Siggy 30mm f1.4 HSM. The range is just nice for you to shoot indoor shots.

QUOTE(peterscm @ Nov 19 2008, 10:02 AM) it is done on purpose. any advise on how to compose a better pic are welcome. Base on ur shot,i didnt think the flower is more attactive then the fish in the river.... since u wan the flower 2 be the main object, then u better walk closer or zoom in, make the main object bigger n cover more space in ur viewfinder..... use ur F2.8 lens to blur the background 2 outstanding ur object.... dun shot flower with normal eye level,it will be bored, .....so try 2 lower ur camera n make some different angle that we normally cant see.....this will make ur object more intresting then u think....... just my RM0.02 ...... You should b the one deciding what ur audience should b focused at, not the audience decide it for u~! At least that is what I think about photography. Showing ppl how u see the world through ur eyes, instead of finding ways to take photos to please the audience. Just my 2 cents though.
