nice product shot. lighting's a little bit too harsh on the right edge. could use a bit more diffused light.

Much better than a lot of ur previous posts.
You should try to stop spamming and instead pick some shots with more "subject" to them.
I think this would help u improve ur photography skills also.
Go for quality instead of quantity...

Back to your shot.....

why did you reckon i used a polarizer for that shot? it was just normal UV filter. Shot as it is.
in fact, if i were to use a polarizer, the reflection on the sandy beach would have been drastically filtered.

about 8-ish, 9... after the sun has set.

you should get a polarizer yourself and play with it, its a filter worth its every penny; as most other filter effects can be PP-ed into a scene to a certain extend. But you cant PP away reflection and glare.

Have given that much thought recently.
I've seen some really marvelous results from polarizers and filters.
But buying a set of filters and polarizers for a compact seems kind of wasteful to me.
hahahaha.... sweat.gif

My photo of the day~!
Hope to have comments on how to improve my shot and PP skills laugh.gif

u can use a close up filter on a tele.. but it will hunt like hell.

a +4 hoya attached on my x 55-250 IS... it change the focus distance from 1 meter to few cm .. hmm if u are looking for good quality stuff, i think u should go for a macro lens, ef100mm F2.8 ? tongue.gif
