it has ntg to do with the tripod, at 1/2000 under bright conditions, even my grandma can shoot sharp pics.
you're better off getting an upgrade for your kit lens

QUOTE(FoxNope @ Nov 24 2008, 04:52 PM) This is my very first photo post in Lowyat.net and taken with my very first camera So... paiseh... C&C please » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « horizon tilted, usage of rules-of-thirds would probably give a better result, could use more sky in the image as the cloud formations are definitely more interesting than the foreground... and missing exif data.. otherwise exposure is still pretty decent, esp the clouds..

QUOTE(FoxNope @ Nov 24 2008, 07:32 PM) haha... too hard to understand for a noob like me... hey dude... is that u on the display avatar? look like Harold .... in the movie harold and kumar... yes, that is me... heard about that movie, havent watch it though. explanation 101:tilted horizon: self explanatory rule of thirds: imagine a square/rectangle, now divide that square/rectangle into 9 equal squares with a " # ", those point where the lines intersect are weight points where you put your main subjects. it would give a much more pleasant composition (framing/arrangement/outlook) to the image. foreground: opposite of background exif data: the digital shoeprint of the photograph embedded by the camera when the image is taken. can be accessed by right clicking the image and go to "properties -> advanced" exposure: go google it This post has been edited by lwliam: Nov 25 2008, 01:10 AM

QUOTE(hanieyf @ Nov 30 2008, 01:21 AM) why it didnt look sharp bro ? QUOTE(168257061 @ Nov 30 2008, 01:45 AM) if the camera's on tripod or anything that is sturdy, it doesnt matter 4 seconds or 4 hours, it's still going to be sharp. 2 possible reasons...
-caused by camera shake -focal point wrongly placed
most likely 1st reason
