your subject ideally have to be at a further distance for panning to work, and preferably distance kept constant as well. imagine a circle, and u are at the center, the subject moves along the perimeter of the circle, thus keeping the distance constant. that way, the perspective of the subject does not change too much to render itself as blur.

TIP: start panning before pressing the shutter release and keep moving in the same direction even after depressing the shutter release.

ISO 1600 ,sure the noise wash out the detail loh....
althought ur shuttle speed already 1/40,but still wondering y use iso 1600 since the doggy is laying down 2 be ur model...
everything is gd, compo,lighting n etc......but it detail n sharpness minus mark .....
actually i like this doggy,but cant get it at ipoh,coz they all sell it to kl,price can mark up higher...
mind 2 share how much u get?
