still learning panning.. most of the shot i tried also blur..

your subject ideally have to be at a further distance for panning to work, and preferably distance kept constant as well. imagine a circle, and u are at the center, the subject moves along the perimeter of the circle, thus keeping the distance constant. that way, the perspective of the subject does not change too much to render itself as blur.

TIP: start panning before pressing the shutter release and keep moving in the same direction even after depressing the shutter release.

not sharp enough... focusing a bit off... looks more like a pns result rather than from a 40D, most likely due to WB control.
