QUOTE(panda00 @ Dec 17 2008, 06:21 PM) I understand where you're coming from, for this dull foreground. Well, it wasn't really a planned shot as such, just that I went strolling with my partner in the park, and walked past this little "dam", or to be honest, A longkang. lol....... I wasn't allowed to move forward as my partner was against it wow, strolling with partner along with a tripod? Thanks for your suggestioin and advice well, u can see my pics in my blog stated below, i do update a bit on my lowyat gallery (but not frequent). Or u could check out my Flickr as well.. But i do update here whenever i have new batches of pics to upload |

good job on opening up the shadow areas among the trees.
natural HDRs are so much more better than the cliched 'animation' looking types. still can see a bit of shift in sky colors on the top left of the trees. where is this location? |

QUOTE(joyyy @ Jan 12 2009, 03:13 PM) It looks more like a normal shot than a HDR. If you are observant enough, to get a properly exposed sky, the shadows in the trees will surely be too dark to catch any details. The dynamic range of the picture looks unchanged. =( But I like it as a normal shot, not a HDR HDRs like i said earlier are not necessarily made to look like those that pop out from comic books. These are made to look more natural to the human eye. Although, these type of 'natural' HDR processing doesnt work on every tom d*** and harry images out there. |
