Just want to share with you all the Tibetan Mastiff pictures (found these pictures on one of the China forum) here, not many people have seen such breed. Very few in China too.

These pictures are NOT PURE Tibetan Mastiff breed, they are mixed with Hound bloodline. Pure Tibetan Mastiff muzzle should not be droppy.

Probably that was a myth created by the farmer. Another possibility that the farmer was so poor that never fed the TM for quite some time during winter, until the dog had to hunt for its own food.
