QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ Oct 11 2008, 03:21 PM) Hi! I wanna know does ATI 4870 support PhysX? PhysX is Nvidia asset right? and today games such Crysis have physX effect... So can i get the physX effect when using ATI? i thought crysis dun use physX? dey use their own physic engine, correct me if i'm wrong. games like UT3 support physX. i dun think physX will bring much performance boost for now. if u already hav a powerful enough CPU, den u dun need the GPU 2 do the calculation. dis will benefit more if u hav lower CPU. QUOTE(S4PH @ Oct 11 2008, 11:04 PM) in future more games will make use of physx just a matter of time, for now just get a 4870 u wont regret it i didnt, all my games run fluid even my crysis on very high settings @ 1400x900 is still playable. dis is wat nvidia wan 2 do. "the way it meant 2 be play" but for now, physX is still kinda useless in real performance.

QUOTE(astria @ Oct 12 2008, 12:33 PM) ATi and Nvidia drivers never like each other... u'll ve a though time fiddling with the drivers to make them work... my windows xp i install both drivers. sometime swap between hd 4870 & 8400gs. works fine 4 me. plug in both card also no problem.
