Set neck will be a one piece guitar... and bolt on will be a 2 piece guitar. One will have better tone and resonance if it's a 1 piece guitar, similar to gibson les pauls as compared to a 2 piece guitar. But one can't change the neck and fretboard is it's a 1 piece guitar unless bringing the guitar to a custom shop and bring it under the knife and change it to a 2 piece.

Erh, that's not accurate.
Set neck just means the neck is glued onto the body as opposed to bolt on where the neck is bolted onto the body.

OK now, it has been a year already.

So, how does this craftsman LP fare during the entire year? or you sold it already or what? I wanna know howd you do when you changed the pups.

For the price range, only Craftsman and Stagg are available. Though a pre-owned Epi 100 maybe in this range also.
