If no seller, only buyer and the buyer price is higher than the last done price for a few session, then the price will adjust up, I think that's the case, not very sure about this also.

It will be hard if you have some script on hand... Enjoy anyway, things are not going to be better even you not enjoy it...

Under current condition very hard for them to push the price up, furthermore if Russia don't co-operate they have no chance to do that (push the price up), recent price hike already pushing user to alternative fuel (coal, gas, solar, wind...) & fuel saving (hybrid, less trips) liao, coupled with looming recession, hard loh. That's their own making, no one to be blame... The price might up but not by a lot... So we can wait for lower pump price in Malaysia liao... RM2/l?

Borrow for dividend is definitely a no no situation, but not to your surprise some company actually 'adjust' the P&L and borrow to pay shareholder dividend, just to make them happy and not dumping their share, this might be a two-edge-sword which might backfire the company. Normally I will just take the P&L (comprehensive income statement by some) as reference and put come attention to cash flow and notes, this might make you clearer on the company's real position. Just my 2 cents.

4.55 cents one-tier Final Dividend paid in August '08.

Means RM45.50 nett/ 1,000 shares. Paid in August (Past event). Final dividend is dividend declared at financial year end.
1-tier dividend (government would like to call it tax-free dividend, but to me that's highly taxed dividend).

Hard to say, they might be able to reverse the trend... but doing something and fail is always better than doing nothing and fail...

Check the ballot result you will find surprisingly high number of them apply for 100 share, maybe just for fun or keep something in their CDS account to keep it activated
