What happened to KNM? Dropped to 0.905? I saw it surged to more than RM 1 in the morning trading session.

Read Post 468.

Funding and currency risk for buying the asset ( in  Euro.)

Sometimes they choose a right timing to off load their shares to retailers ( blur blur ).

But that was in September. Sad to see that it couldn't join the today's rally.

On KNM Unusual Market Activity

well, let's make KNM as a designated counter so nobody could speculate on it anymore.

KNM tumbles 21.5 sen

KUALA LUMPUR: KNM Group Bhd share price tumbled in heavy trade on Wednesday prompting a query from Bursa Malaysia Securities.

It fell 21.5 sen to close at 69 sen. There were 154 million shares transacted, according to stock exchange data.

However, the company told Bursa Securities it was unaware of the cause of the unusual market activity in the shares.

“There is no corporate development relating to the group’s business and affairs that has not been previously announced that may account for the unusual market activity including those in the stage of negotiation/discussion,” it said.

KNM also said it was not aware of any other possible explanation to account for the unusual market activity, except its announcement that it had secured a term loan for 150 million euros from Malayan Banking Bhd.

The loan was for the acquisition of Borsig Beteiligungsverwaltunsgeselschaft mbH,which was completed on June 6.
