Not sure about this, but i heard somewhere that chrome can transfer electric current, is it true?
if its true then u'll risk causing electricity leak with ur PC if u paint it 100% chrome... |

If "celup"(dipping) into the chrome thingy would be electrolysis just like ryudox said, never heard of Chrome spray can, but i think its worth a try since the "celup" procedure might cost u more...
Interested with ur chrome suggestion, hope you'll find a way to chrome ur casing bro.. |

but chrome will conduct electricity, its a metal and the electrons in the electron sea can move about in the chrome layer. make sure your cables are nicely arranged and managed, no koyak2 here and there.
anyways, cool idea of chroming!!! can also shave yourself and look at the insides of ur pc if u have a window!! lastly, all the best!!! |

First solution : Buy a chrome paint at hardware shop.. (eventhough it'll became silver later on, u can paint it again since the cost not a bomb to u)
second solution : Bring the part that u want to "celup" to Thailand. its cheaper than Malaysia but the risk is i also will going silver in 5-10 months. (my frenz "celup" his car's rim within 6 months silver oledi) last solution : spend around 100 n go to any shop which provide "celup" krom service (Perak better) |

TS, i dont think it will look really good... for example, look at this car... 1st first u see it... "wow".. then, look boring...
![]() additional info... this is a real chrome casing ![]() i think a sprayed casing with mirror effect (piano finish) look much better than a plain chrome casing... This post has been edited by omara86: Mar 19 2009, 11:09 AM |
