firefox eats cpu resources when there's more than 20-30 tabs. But every graphic is capable of playing HD smoothly even though it's does not have a HD playable label. czero himself doesn't know how to use a pc properly, how is he going to benefit quad core.

cuz it only ultilizes 20-50% cpu during load, which means should i run anything else in the mean time, it wont even affect it the slightest
in most cases after the first load, it becomes instant load too thanks to vista prefetch lol

eletric bills, one of the main factor that would help is a really good psu, that maximizes the energy it can produce from the power socket. atm the standard rate is around 85%++, in simple examples, your house gives 300w, you psu is only able to produce 85% of that 300w, and the 15% = waste.

(thats why i lol at people buying cap ayam, they save capital cost, but they waste a ton in the long run, worse if the thing blows up and drag some pc parts along with it LOL!)

then it would be the actual power consumption of the parts. AFAIK, the new intel wolfdales can run at really retarded voltages, like some 1.1v for stock speed or even lower depending on configuration/proc batch.

good casing is equally important imo, so ur choice is a pretty good one
if barely enough, just wait a bit, who knows the time you buy you get another price slash with newer series of things coming out... (normal pc trend la LOL)

some cheap 2k wolfdales can outperform my rig... LOL (i even personally overclocked that said rig and ran some testings myself ROFL)
owned me hard on the clock speeds/bus speeds... like, really hard.

and sits at much cooler temp, and uses 0.5 less volts. i <3 technology advancements /endsarcasm

long time ago when i still used that c2e. that pc kicks about rm40-rm60 on electrics bills. then i swap to better PSU the green power acly. no reduce in bills.. put on an avr. aslo not that much..next time i knew.. i sold all that pc parts.. and yeah.. i proves me that the pc i sold ate exactly rm40-rm60 per month according to my cousin

i had no idea why they open so many tab. i only open around 4-5 max usually in mai browser.

kalau hdd, baik depends on quality. kalau duit tak cukup, jangan beli low quality. nanti merana.
