Truth is i never thought that was a red card.
When you play football and are running in to try to get back in position, add in a slick surface and momentum, you will clash with the player. messi could have easily nutmegged him and move further in.

Until today i stand firm that it was NOT intentional, nor was it a red card.

I play football/futsal all the time and there are times when u just can't stop your momentum in your attempt to get the ball

actually i don't think that's true, drogs has shown quite a number of times that he can take on defenders (ala Senderos and Carragher) and dribble past them, outmuscle them and put it past the keeper

.. naturally we should have won every game. isn't that ideal? :|

1st sub - Drogs for Anelka.

Previously when Drogs comes in, i'd feel all secure and all. But with his lack of match fitness , i began to tremble (Although it was great to see him celebrate Nelka's goal with nelka and LFS)

But naturally, we all understand why this substitution took place - to rest nelka's feet.


2nd Sub - Ferreira on for Joe

Ferreira has never been an attacking player and joe has proven himself both offensively and defensively for the past seasons. We wanted to win the game, and yet we brought on ferreira.

Granted, Joe hasn't been playing too many games either but this just brings me to my final point.


WHY IS MALOUDA STILL PLAYING EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY GAME?!

He's losing possession, putting in lousy passes for his team mates to have to work to get, looks unsure of himself and the list goes on.
