Hi friends,
I have received an offer for the products Im trying to sell,it is a HiFi system that is about rm 7000, the buyer is from Canada. He offered me a nice deal and he will bear all the shipping costs. According to him, he will pay me with Royal Bank of Canada and wanted to know my account details. He requested me to use FedEx and ship to Nigeria (The item is for his son). I feel something is not right here,I suspect it is a scam or he has other intentions, so I havent give him my bank account details. But how can this be possible right? Is it safe if I give him my bank details?

its a risk u have to take if you want to earn it. As long as u dont delivery before payment.

make sure u get the actual money before deliver. Dont trust paypal.

Of course I will make sure I received the payment then only deliver the items, but he seems very eager to know my bank details. Do you guys think he has other intentions? my maybank account also not much money, less than rm 20 biggrin.gif

Can't say I didn't expect that. This is Malaysia after all, the land of closet racists.

Anyway... I'm sure you people have read a lot about the "Nigerian scams" so it's best to be extra cautious when it comes to dealings with someone from Nigeria. If you have doubts then sleep on it.

This is scam... try to search about Nigerian scam. I'm not racist but for me, if someone ask to sent to Nigeria, I will raise an alarm about it. Why not TS quote the mail he received here.

Try to read this story.

Well if you have a copy of the email you can tell. If you read all the scam email, you can see the pattern, they all have a similar writing style.
