greetingz,

can anyone recommend me a software, prefered freeware, to check on my LAN users what port that they are using now. i want to check what port they use for program such as limewire, ares or any other p2p client.

but do u know any other software that i can check others from my pc? i mean i want to scan other user in my network on what port they're running now, just like this one.

You can try it since its free. The only prob is you must have a cisco router. If you have other type of router, then you gotta pay for their orion netflow analyzer which works on a wide range of routers and comes with alot of tools.

Isnt currports monitors only the local machine ports whereas the TS wants a program to check ports coming out of all computers within a givin network.

Orion can do that since all information capture is done through the router and theres no way they can bypass that unless they arent using the router.
