Its really really cold now, doubt I will be able to do any running any time soon. damn damn damn.

I'll just try my best if I can do it next week. I'll be in Paris over the weekend. After this week, I'm free edi...no more touring. probably can scout for jackets and stuff for running.

Well, i believe you are running with a sweater and thick track pants on. You may also put on gloves and a snow cap. Shouldn't be too bad, perhaps you are still adjusting to the weather. I personally feel its still ok to run at zero degrees. But when it gets to minus twenty, don't do it. Hahaha.

Any subang jaya runners here? You all usually run where?
*
Hey, there's me, though I live in USJ. But currently, I'm injured, and selling my singapore marathon bib (full marathon) as such. Details on http://runningmagic.blogspot.com.
I usually run in the morning before work starting between 5-5.30am on weekdays...touring both USJ and subang jaya. But if there's someone to run with, I'm happy to run after work, 6-6.30pm, starting at MPSJ. For weekend and holiday runs, it'll usually be outside USJ/subang jaya.
So anymore runners living around this area??

--My Day--

-Did me usual 2 laps of 5km+ at relatively faster pace den last week followed by 2 rounds around da lake, planned to do a 3rd but met me ole skool mates tongue.gif

Body Feedback:
-BLISTER seem to hv gotten worse, seems to hv a little pus sad.gif
-the outer part of me knees seem to b paining slightly sad.gif
-ONLY me left feet, in between me toes erm hmm.gif skin seems to be coming off

Questions:
1. Whats with me blister? anything serious?
2. Whats with me left feet's toes?
3. Whats da diff between the RM15+ nike dri fit socks and the RM22+ nike dri fit?
**YES!! registered for Great Eastern run -20km tongue.gif

Hi there,

you indicated that skin's peeling off from your toes after running. Apparently, this is the blister you are referring to in point one. If there's pus coming out, then there clearly is a wound. Pus compromises mostly of dead shit. So no vital body substance is oozing out.

anybody knows any jogging track near seksyen 27 shah alam..

somebody recommend tasik shah alam, but it'll jam after work.. If possible i'd like to find jogging area near usj, or seksyen 26 ..etc...

just move to that area..

If its after work, then MPSJ is a good option. Its at USJ 5. Of course, there are a lot of other small parks around USJ which you can consider.

Sigh, must tell myself not to cross my leg while sitting in the office and at home.

After awhile, when I try to walk, my below my knee cap will have slight pain.
More icing? I haven't been icing it except day 1. The rest of the days are just taking glucosamine and fish oil
*
Generally, icing is done just after you got the injury up to like 48-72hours. During this initial stage, your body normally over-reacts to the injury by channelling unnecesary amounts of "reinforcements". This subsequently causes more damage.

If the injury has been at least a week already, one may consider not icing it anymore. By then, the body will already know how to send reinforcements in a controlled manner. During which, you may choose to apply heat to stimulate blood flow. Icing will not do any good by this time and it is likely to slow things down. Unless there is re-injury, choose heat over ice.

But more importantly, try to get an accurate a diagnosis as possible. This will help identify appropriate rehab exercises as rest alone some times isn't enough.

Hope this video helps. Perhaps you can start viewing from 3:50 smile.gif

Nice to see you recovering well. Yeah, it a really long video...and last 10min was for Q&A. But even the questions posted then were useful too.
